"Let Go, Grow, and Flow" in 2013

That's my motto for 2013, already a year of transition, change, and of hope. Letting go of what holds me back, Growing in wisdom and skill, and Flowing with the The Spirit. Here is an image representing my theme for the year. It's part of a new journal I just started.

I've talked to a number of people who are already in transition, under stress, or ill. It has been a challenging week for me and others. Here is a prayer I prayed and then wrote down for someone facing new decisions and stepping out in faith and risk. Then it was adapted to the first person, praying it for myself later in the day.

LORD,
give me peace and
a sense of Your loving and abiding Presence.
Give me confidence in You alone,
so I will know you are leading me
and have good plans for me,
for You and I together.
Thank You
I love You

I haven't posted for longer than usual because I've been working on my new website. It is time for a change, and the transition from the old hosting service was quite stressful. In fact, my website an email are down right now for possibly 5-7 days. If you want to email me you can reach me at: valeriesjodinstudio@gmail.com. The good part is, I hired a trustworthy and understanding web designer to help me and have a new hosting service that has been quite helpful. And I will have some new features on my site. More about that a bit later.

Thank you for stopping by!

  1. I like your visual motto for this year. The transition becoming more rich in color and rising higher.

Several friends and I are about to start reading/discussing Forgotten God together. It's about the Holy Spirit and from what I've been told, it's a challenging book.

    1. I've read that book. It will spark some good discussion for sure. In the past three years, I've been on a spiritual journey, and would never go back; life changing. Francis Chan, in the book you mentioned, says, "It really is an astounding truth that the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. He lives in me. I do not know what the Spirit will do or where He'll lead me each time I invite Him to guide me… " page 37.

Thanks for sharing! It's nice to know we are not alone in the journey!
